Why did I start this blog?

I am so blessed! We are ALL so blessed! I am a wife, mother of three, eye surgeon, solider, speaker, entrepreneur, transformational coach, fire walker, beauty queen and most importantly child of God. With all those balls in the air there is never a dull day in my life!!! Not one! My life is 100% fun and adventure! And while I have been blessed beyond measure I have also had my share of suffering. I've experienced career setbacks, financial devastation, and the pain of a broken marriage. But God has kept me. And in the process I've learned soooo many lessons. I have started this blog in hopes that through my joy and my pain, someone else's journey might be a little bit easier. It is my hope and prayer that you will live life abundantly. My heart's desire is that you spend more of your days in joy, peace, love and patience, rather than suffering. It is my hope and prayer for me too. When I die what I hope they say about me is that "she lived and she loved (and wore fabulous shoes)!" Kidding/not kidding! Thank you for joining me on this adventure we call life. Much love to you!

Finding Joy and Harmony in the Midst of Motherhood, Work and Mayhem Don’t look back. I went to McDonalds today to get happy meals for the girls. While there I remembered how much, when I was in high school, I used to love cheeseburgers, fries, coke, vanilla milkshakes and apple pies. I ordered all of those things, except for the coke. I was looking forward to experiencing the pleasures that those things used to bring. Interestingly, the milkshake wasn’t thick like I remember and was way too sweet. The cheeseburger barely tasted like meat, the processed cheese didn’t resemble cheese at all. The fries were ok but not remarkable.
